RoXdon VM2-MASTER 2U 19" Rack Mounted Stereo Analog VU Meter

The RoXdon VM2-MASTER Stereo Analog VU Meter is a high quality 2-channel (left & right) Precision device designed to be Rack Mounted in a professional Audio setup.

The VM2-MASTER features XLR's for the input and link connections. The meter is powered by an external International Power Supply therefore preventing interaction with the audio circuit. The Power Supply includes UK, EU, USA & Australian adapters. A vintage style on-off Power Switch + Power on Lamp are located on the front panel.

The VM2-MASTER is ideal for final Mixdown or Mastering levels. Compared to a LED meter a VU has a slower attack time which allows the faster transients to get by before it registers the signal and gives a reading. Because of these characteristics a VU meter is fairly accurate and preferable when measuring overall level of your program material.

The meters are calibrated for the Pro Audio standard 0VU = +4dBu (1.228V into a 600 ohm load). The audio is unaffected using the VU meter.
