RoXdon VT1 Mk II Multi-Pattern Vintage Tube Condenser Microphone

The RoXdon VT-1 Mk II multi-pattern tube condenser microphone represents our commitment to provide a world class 'classic' studio recording microphone.

Utilizing the finest grade components including solid brass body and grille, dual bobbin transformer, German Metallized WIMA capacitors and custom designed gold plated microphone capsule.  The RoXdon VT-1 electronic circuit is designed around a NOS (new old stock) vintage 1970's
OTK military spec. 6N2P-EV vacuum tube. This quality tube, individually graded and selected in our London workshop, out-performs any modern day equivalent tube and gives the RoXdon VT-1 a unique warmth and superior character, ideal for vocal recording and only achievable by using the best components available together with class A circuitry and dedicated design principles.

The RoXdon VT-1 features nine variations of polar pattern from Omni, Cardioid and Figure of 8, and is achieved by adjusting the variable control on the power supply. There also features a low cut filter switch and -10dB attenuation switch located conveniently on the microphone body.

The RoXdon VT-1 microphone has very low self noise, good signal to noise ratio and excellent audio dynamic range.

The RoXdon VT-1 microphone and accessories are supplied in a practical aluminium storage case. The accessories include a vintage style shock mount; dedicated phantom power supply; RoXdon 7-core microphone cable and a micro-fibre microphone polishing cloth.

Finished in a non-reflective egg shell black with luxurious gold grille, the RoXdon VT-1 exudes class.
